ChessDating.com is exclusively for adults age 18 and older. Minors may not create accounts, appear in dating profiles, participate in conversations, or be presented as potential dates. Report any suspected underage account immediately.
Child sexual abuse and exploitation
We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation in every form, including grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexualized depictions of minors, solicitation of sexual content from a minor, sharing or seeking child sexual abuse material, or directing users to such content elsewhere. This includes altered, generated, and purported depictions. See the Child Safety Standards for the dedicated reporting channel.
Respect and consent
- Accept rejection, a declined chat, an unmatch, or a request to stop.
- Do not harass, threaten, stalk, shame, blackmail, intimidate, or repeatedly contact someone.
- Do not share another person's private information, exact location, or intimate content without explicit consent.
- Do not create, post, threaten to share, or request nonconsensual intimate imagery or sexual deepfakes.
- Do not target people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
Authenticity
- Use your own current photos and truthful age, identity, location, and intentions.
- Do not impersonate, catfish, create deceptive accounts, or use another person's images.
- Do not solicit money, investments, gift cards, passwords, financial credentials, or fraudulent opportunities.
- Do not promote escort services, compensated dating, trafficking, “sugar” arrangements, or sexual services.
Appropriate content
Do not post nudity, pornography, sexually explicit profile content, graphic violence, illegal goods, hate content, self-harm encouragement, malware, spam, or commercial solicitation. Dating does not imply consent to sexual content.
Fair chess
Play without engines, outside move assistance, automation, sandbagging, rating manipulation, stalling, or deliberate disconnect abuse. Be a good sport whether you win, lose, draw, or resign.
Reporting and blocking
Use in-app Report for a profile, message, or safety concern. The report form can also block the account immediately. Reports create private cases for trained review; the reporter's identity is not disclosed to the reported member. Call local emergency services when danger is immediate. Use our no-login intimate-image removal process when applicable.
Enforcement
Violations may result in warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, game invalidation, account suspension, permanent removal, device or identity restrictions, and reports to authorities. A human-verified severe safety violation may result in immediate action. Ordinary report volume alone does not automatically ban an account. Affected members may use the appeal process.
