For content removal, feature restriction, suspension, or account removal

How to appeal

Email safety@chessdating.com from the address associated with your account. Include:

• the case or decision reference from the notice, if available;
• the account email and display name;
• the decision you want reviewed;
• why you believe the decision was mistaken or disproportionate; and
• any relevant context that was not considered.

Do not attach suspected child sexual abuse material or nonconsensual intimate imagery.

How review works

We acknowledge appeals, check whether the request is timely and complete, and assign a reviewer who was not the original decision-maker when practical. The reviewer considers the applicable policy, available evidence, account history, proportionality, and any new information. We aim to resolve ordinary appeals within seven days, but urgent safety, legal, or evidence-preservation issues may change the timing.

Possible outcomes

We may uphold, narrow, reverse, or replace the original action. We send the outcome to the verified account email unless doing so would compromise another person’s safety, reveal confidential reporting information, or conflict with law.
