Intimate-Image Removal
This process is for an authentic or digitally created/altered intimate depiction published without the depicted person’s consent. The depicted person or an authorized representative may submit the notice.
What a complete notice needs
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Information reasonably sufficient for us to locate the image or video, such as a profile URL, message or media reference, member name, date, and description of where it appears.
- A good-faith statement that the publication was nonconsensual, with any relevant context.
- Contact information so we can confirm receipt or request missing information.
Do not upload or email another copy when a URL or in-app reference is enough. If the material depicts a minor, use the child-safety process and do not save, copy, or forward it.
What happens next
We assign a case reference when a notice is received. For a valid notice, ChessDating will remove or disable access to the identified depiction as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receipt, and make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies within the same period. We may contact you only for information needed to locate the material or complete the notice.
