Delete Your Account

ChessDating.com account and associated-data deletion

Signed-in members can delete their account in Settings. If you cannot sign in, this public path lets you request deletion without reinstalling the app.

Delete inside the app

  1. Sign in to ChessDating.com.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Choose Delete my account.
  4. Review the warning, confirm, and complete any identity-verification step.

Request deletion from the web

If you cannot access the app, submit the email address associated with the account. ChessDating Support verifies control of the account before deletion.

This button opens a pre-addressed email. Review it and press Send. ChessDating receives the request only after you send that email.

What will be deleted

In-app deletion cancels future web billing, deletes the Firebase login and hosted profile, and clears device-local photos, matches, and messages. The service removes direct identity-account and billing references. Limited de-identified document fingerprints, verified safety decisions, payment records held by processors, or other records may be retained when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, safety, disputes, legal obligations, and enforcement.

Verification, timing, and subscriptions

CHESSDATING.COM LLC uses the minimum reasonable steps needed to confirm control of the account, then confirms receipt and completion by email. A deletion request does not necessarily cancel a subscription purchased through Apple or Google; manage those subscriptions in the applicable app store. Web subscriptions are canceled during authenticated in-app deletion or with support assistance.
